What To Expect?
Eye Lid Surgery
During a Blepharoplasty surgery for the upper eye lids, a thin incision is made within in the skin's natural fold to re-contour the natural eyelid crease to restore its youthful beauty. This is performed under anesthesia with little discomfort or pain. There is slight swelling for a week afterwards that will not interfere with everyday day activities.
Lower eye lid surgery is often done without sutures or visible scar being made with fat simply being removed from the inside surface of the lower eyelid so there is minimum recovery. Minimal swelling and occasional bruising may occur.
Restylane and Juvederm for Lip Augmentation or Filling Nasal Labial Folds

look.Lip augmentation and facial contouring with Restylane or Juvederm injections is a quick, easy and painless procedure taking about 30 minutes and lasting up to six months. A gel is simply injected into the upper and/or lower lips in tiny amounts using a very fine needle. Dr. Rawnsley's focus on creating a natural, attractive aesthetic result avoids an artificial, overdone look.
Botox and Dysport
When performed in controlled amounts and placement, these injections can take years off the changes that occur over time around the eyes. They also actually prevent dynamic lines in the face from becoming fixed and permanent. There is minimal discomfort from Botox or disport injections. Most importantly for any busy mom, the procedures are fast and effective with no down time. A typical series of injections lasts from four to six months.
Melasma
Fraxel treatments are performed once a month for three to four months. A couple of days of gentle downtime is recommended after each treatment and patients are advised to stay out of excessive sun exposure and use a high SPF sunblock.
Chemical Peel
During the peel, it is ../common to feel a warming sensation on the skin for approximately 10 minutes followed by a slight stinging, for which cool compressive are applied. Following the procedure, the after affects are similar to that of sun burn with redness and scaling for up to a week afterwards. Mild peels can be performed weekly or monthly, more in-depth peels should be done less often.
