Meet Dr. Rawnsley
Jeffrey Rawnsley, M.D.
Dr. Rawnsley realizes that his practice as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon has an ongoing daily effect on his patients' lives. The face serves more than aesthetic purposes; it has an impact on a person's overall identity, how they are perceived by others, and more than that, how they perceive themselves. That perception particularly comes into play in the workplace.
With his expertise in Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Rawnsley understands the anatomy of the face and how small details to specific underlying structures can make enduring improvements on a client's appearance, and therefore how they are perceived. He spends time with each patient devising a plan specific to their individual needs, goals, and time limitations in order to best enhance their appearance, without altering there facial uniqueness.
Founder of the UCLA Facial Aesthetic Center...Dr. Rawnsley has a successful face-focused private practice in Westwood. He also actively serves as a clinical associate professor at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine. He consults regularly with other facial plastic surgeons from around the world, who seek his expertise on a range of medical and patient management issues.
He earned his Doctorate in Medicine, as well as a Masters Degree in health policy, from the University of California, San Francisco. He then completed his residency at UCLA Medical Center, where he also acquired specialty training and a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery and Microsurgery.
The New York Times, Los Angeles Daily News, KNBC-TV, KABC-TV and Reuters Broadcast News have all featured Dr. Rawnsley's pioneering work.
Dr. Rawnsley is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery.
