Revision Rhinoplasty Case 11
When not studying law, this 23 year old revision rhinoplasty patient loved playing rugby. And it was a rugby injury which originally set him looking for a rhinoplasty surgeon. But his primary rhinoplasty surgery resulted in a progressive loss of support of the middle part of his nose. This resulted in a Saddle Nose Deformity.
Dr. Rawnsley undertook revision rhinoplasty with grafting of the nasal bridge using a morselized rib cartilage wrapped in a bundle of fascia.
More than correcting the saddle nose issue, the surgery returned a visual tie to his ethnic heritage which had been lost.
