Rhinoplasty Case 12
At 21 years of age this young woman decided it was time to do something about the appearance of her nose. She contacted Dr. Rawnsley’s Los Angeles plastic surgery office and quickly set up an appointment.
Upon meeting with Dr. Rawnsley he explained that the prominent appearance of her nose was due to a “dorsal hump” and that her tip was slightly ptotic and over-projected. They worked together and through the use of digital image morphing came to an approach that she was happy about.
As a primary rhinoplasty procedure Dr. Rawnsley performed the surgery endonasally. He was able to align the patient’s profile as well as de-project and reduce her tip.
